Mainframe Automation Programmer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Mainframe Automation System Programmer for a contract position, who will manage and enhance automation using SA & NetView in a remote z/OS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SA & NetView, including PDB updates
• Configure automation tables, message processing, and command lists
• Develop automation using REXX and support IPL/shutdown automation

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in IBM z/OS & System z architecture
• Hands-on expertise in SA & NetView
• Knowledge of LPAR builds, upgrades, patches, and parmlib maintenance
• Familiarity with JES3 subsystem
