Mainframe Automation Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Automation Specialist to lead the migration of automation systems in a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead migration of CA OPS/MVS rules and REXX automation scripts to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS
- Convert and validate existing automation logic into IBM System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
- Install, configure, and customize SA z/OS and SAIOM environments
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a mainframe (z/OS) operations or automation environment
- Hands-on experience with NetView for z/OS and System Automation for z/OS
- Strong knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, REXX programming, and System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
- Experience with z/OS automation migration projects
- Ability to work cross-functionally with infrastructure and operations teams
