Mainframe COBOL Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe/COBOL Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop software/web applications in an SOA environment
• Design, develop, test, implement, document, and support mainframe and integrated systems
• Collaborate with teams to implement technical changes and support production environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience implementing and managing software solutions
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing and developing mainframe technical solutions
• At least 2 years of hands-on programming in a mainframe environment (e.g., CICS, COBOL)
• Experience with IBM z/OS environment tools and languages, including COBOL, CICS, JCL
