Mainframe Communication Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Communication Server Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Connect:Direct (NDM), MSM, and InterTest Batch utilizing SMP/E
- Design and develop utilities (REXX) to streamline processes
- Troubleshoot network connection issues and support a redundant TCPIP network
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with z/OS mainframe communications
- 7+ years of experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and core networking protocols
- 7+ years of experience configuring secure data transmissions with firewalls and VPNs
- 7+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, and network monitoring tools
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
