Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Consultant, Mainframe DB2.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and support for proposal development and sales efforts
• Lead design workshops, mentor engineers, and maintain strong client relationships
• Install and maintain mainframe DB2 software, overseeing infrastructure upgrades and providing 24x7 support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of IT engineering experience, including z/OS administration, or 11 years of IT engineering experience with 7 years in z/OS administration
• Experience with mainframe software products from vendors like IBM and demonstrated ability to support DB2 and related software
• Proven track record in developing project plans and schedules for complex projects
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on customer service
• High-level certifications in primary technical areas of expertise are preferred
