Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting complex enterprise systems, the full-time remote Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator will manage DB2 for z/OS databases, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on application architecture and design.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain DB2 for z/OS databases across Development, Test, and Production environments
• Define enterprise application architecture and produce technical documentation for system changes
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure system reliability and performance

Required Qualifications

• Strong DB2 database administration experience with hands-on skills
• Experience in system architecture and application design
• Familiarity with both mainframe and distributed computing platforms
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
• Experience performing IT engineering tasks of moderate complexity under minimal supervision
