Job Summary
Leading complex database upgrade projects, the hybrid Mainframe DBA will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of core database products while supporting the County's database architecture and business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, install, configure, and implement database software products and enhancements
- Transfer, validate, and maintain databases in a cloud environment
- Provide database administration services, including patch installs, cloning, backup, and recovery
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or engineering field
- 4+ years of database administration experience in Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server environments
- 3+ years of experience in cloud database management
- 5+ years of experience with StarQuest Stelo Data Replication software
- Skills in ETL utilities and troubleshooting ETL jobs
