Job Summary

Mainframe Developer, an intermediate or senior role responsible for maintaining and supporting systems within a complex environment, contributing to project initiatives, and participating in the software development life cycle, requiring full-time commitment and participation in on-call support rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support mainframe systems to ensure business continuity
• Contribute to project initiatives for application enhancement and development
• Participate in the software development life cycle using Agile methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience in software programming and support
• Completion of a technical training program and 2 years related work experience may be acceptable
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology related field with 2 years related work experience may also qualify
• In-depth knowledge of COBOL, Batch Processing tools, and DB2
• Experience with data management practices and system interaction patterns
