Mainframe Developer

Job Summary

Supporting critical state government projects, the remote Mainframe Developer will analyze business and technical requirements, design and implement application code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on enhancements and development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements for Mainframe application enhancements
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement Mainframe application code
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of Mainframe solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Mainframe applications
• Advanced knowledge of Mainframe architectures and enterprise Mainframe environments
• Prior state/government experience is required
• Advanced understanding of Mainframe hardware platforms
• Strong experience with COBOL and Mainframe/Cobol Rules Mining
