Mainframe Developer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time remote Mainframe Developer will sustain and modernize multiple programs while providing application support, troubleshooting complex issues, and developing performance optimization scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support, enhancements, and production support for mainframe systems
• Conduct research and analysis to deliver defect corrections and troubleshoot complex issues
• Develop scripts and utilities for production data fixes and optimize system performance

Required qualifications

• Technology experience in COBOL, Z/OS, and CICS is required
• Preferred experience with industry standard languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of Mainframe Developer experience
• Leadership skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Preferred industry experience in Federal Government, Insurance, or Banking sectors
