Job Summary
To support ongoing projects, the contract Mainframe Developer will analyze and debug applications while leveraging expertise in COBOL, DB2, and CICS in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct mainframe application analysis and debugging to ensure optimal performance
- Provide production support and manage batch processing tasks effectively
- Participate in legacy modernization and migration initiatives within an Agile/SDLC framework
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in mainframe development
- Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM
- Experience with Control-M for job scheduling
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as Xpediter, File-AID, and Abend-AID
- Strong background in batch processing and production support
