Job Summary
To support complex application tasks, the remote Mainframe Developer will analyze, design, program, and implement solutions while coding and troubleshooting the company's mainframe system.
Key responsibilities:
- Code and troubleshoot the company's mainframe system
- Analyze, design, program, and implement complex application tasks and projects
- Devise logical procedures to resolve business problems using computer resources
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of experience plus an Associate degree
- 4 years of application development or systems testing experience
- Experience with COBOL, JCL, TSO, and other mainframe development tools
- Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and integration methodologies in a mainframe environment
