Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Develop applications using mainframe technologies and support production activities
Train junior staff and lead initiatives in application development and production support
Interface with business lines and IT to drive value and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in mainframe technologies
Hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and other mainframe tools
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
Experience in relational databases such as Sybase, SQL Server, and Oracle
Familiarity with mainframe integration and IT modernization efforts is a plus
