Mainframe Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Network Engineer to support and maintain network configurations in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, debug, and maintain TCPIP and VTAM subsystems for Parallel Sysplex
• Utilize mainframe Configuration Manager to implement AT-TLS rules and IPSEC policies
• Provide on-call support and monitor system program products using SMP/E and TSO/ISPF

Required Qualifications

• Experience with SNA & IP products such as DB2, CICS, and TSO/ISPF
• Knowledge of secure encrypted data transfer methods (NDM, SFTP, FTP/TLS)
• Familiarity with Tcpip trace analysis and system monitoring tools
• Ability to work weeknights and weekends for implementation tasks
• Experience with z/OSMF and mainframe configuration management
