Mainframe Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Security Consultant specializing as a Mainframe Penetration Tester, this full-time remote position will conduct thorough security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and provide expert recommendations to enhance clients' security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform app, platform, CICS, Db2, or other z/OS-based penetration tests
• Create and deliver comprehensive penetration test reports to clients
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective remediation strategies to improve security posture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in penetration testing, including network, web, or mobile application testing
• Familiarity with offensive toolkits used for network and application penetration testing
• Knowledge of z/OS fundamentals, including JCL, JES2, USS, Networking, and at least one ESM (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret)
