Mainframe Performance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Performance and Capacity Management Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and exception monitoring for mainframe environments
• Set system parameters and ensure proper sizing and tuning of the mainframe infrastructure
• Proactively manage system alerts and recommend industry best practices for performance improvement

Required Qualifications

• Experience with z/OS in both sysplex and stand-alone environments
• Knowledge of z/OS performance and tuning
• Experience using Rumba and TSO
• Familiarity with JCL, SAS, and REXX
• Strong debugging skills with available tools
