Mainframe Performance Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting migrations from competitive mainframe performance monitoring products, the remote Mainframe Performance Management Engineer will lead migration assessments, deploy solutions, and engage with customers in enterprise z/OS environments on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead migrations from third-party performance monitoring products to company solutions
• Assess customer environments and provide migration estimates and implementation plans
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot performance management solutions on z/OS

Required qualifications

• Experience with z/OS environments and performance management solutions
• Proven track record in migration assessment and solution deployment
• Technical consulting experience within enterprise IT settings
• Ability to create migration documentation and collaborate with technical teams
• Immediate availability for contract work
