Mainframe Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Security Engineer, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for mainframe security products and project initiatives
• Design and support mainframe initiatives related to encryption, authentication, and authorization
• Coordinate software/OS upgrades and develop technical solutions based on security best practices

Required Qualifications

• College graduate with 5+ years of related work experience on the mainframe
• Experience with mainframe security software configuration and internals (Broadcom/CA-TSS)
• Ability to program in command mainframe batch and reporting languages (C, JCL, REXX)
• Experience with distributed technology and z/OS utilities and facilities
• Experience with database technology (e.g., Sybase, DB2, SQL)
