Job Summary
To support critical patch management initiatives, the long-term contract Mainframe SMP/E Expert will work remotely, focusing on automation timelines, vulnerability management, and developing AI-driven testing prompts.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with vulnerability management teams to support EZ CVE reporting
- Define and finalize automation timelines for Patch Management
- Develop patch response models for ad-hoc and immediate escalation scenarios
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of strong hands-on SMP/E experience
- Experience with z/OSMF and REST API, particularly in Software Management
- Proficiency in Git and USS/OMVS
- Experience installing and maintaining z/OS and ISV software
- Strong Python and REXX scripting experience
