Mainframe SRE Architect
Job Summary
To enhance hybrid cloud platforms, the full-time Mainframe SRE Architect will architect and implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) frameworks, design AWS cloud architectures, and lead performance engineering initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement SRE frameworks for mainframe and AWS hybrid cloud platforms
- Optimize COBOL, DB2, and CICS transactions to improve system performance and reduce CPU utilization
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Proficiency in Rocket LCM and RACF security administration
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools including CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana
- Strong background in performance engineering and workload tuning
