Mainframe Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Analyst for a 24-month remote contract position focused on systems analysis, requirements gathering, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications within the Financial/Investment Services domain, with a requirement to support EST business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct systems analysis and requirements gathering for enterprise mainframe applications
• Analyze existing systems and define future-state solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
• Document current-state and future-state processes, including problem identification and solution analysis

Required qualifications

• Current or recent experience in the Financial Services, Investment, Brokerage, or Capital Markets industry
• Strong understanding of core trading concepts
• Proven experience in systems analysis, including requirements gathering and business process analysis
• Experience with SOAP UI and REST APIs, and strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly DB2
• Ability to navigate and analyze applications within a Mainframe (z/OS) environment
