Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Technical Support professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for online transaction processing software, including middleware management (CICS, MQSeries)
- Diagnose and resolve mainframe software issues while monitoring software performance
- Conduct staff training, create technical documentation, and ensure compliance with security policies
Required Qualifications
- Experience with CICS, z/OS, SMP/E, and Unix System Services
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining CICS and MQSeries on z/OS
- Knowledge of IBM Job Control Language (JCL) and JES2
- Familiarity with CICS security and performance tuning
- Ability to lead projects and mentor team members
