Job Summary
To support the development of the 10th-gen BWRX-300 nuclear power plant, the contract Maintenance Engineer will lead asset maintenance strategy, validate critical nuclear engineering data, and conduct Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) while working remotely from Norfolk, Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the complete lifecycle of asset maintenance strategy development for various plant systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Acquire, validate, and input critical nuclear engineering data into Asset Performance Management (APM) software
- Conduct comprehensive FMEA to identify and mitigate potential failure modes exceeding risk thresholds
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Commercial nuclear experience
- Experience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and FMEA
- Proficiency in data-driven maintenance methodologies
- Experience collaborating with design and operations teams
