Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Maintenance Technician III to perform senior-level maintenance work in North Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform maintenance tasks including machine lubrication, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, including air handlers and utility distribution equipment
• Train on day shift before transitioning to night shift for ongoing maintenance duties

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Experience with power tools such as electric drills, saws, and grinders
• Experience in pump rebuilds, some electrical work, and facility maintenance
• GMP experience is highly preferred
• Experience in heavy industrial mechanical or chemical industrial settings is preferred
