Major Gifts Manager

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and execution of the principal and major gifts program, the full-time Major Gifts Manager will manage a portfolio of donors giving $25,000 or more annually while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 major donors, conducting 40-50 strategic donor meetings annually to advance relationships
• Design and implement regional strategies to grow the major gifts program, including organizing in-person regional events
• Develop compelling donor engagement materials and organize events to deepen donor understanding of the organization's work

Required qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of professional fundraising experience with a track record of securing major gifts
• Demonstrated ability to manage a major gifts portfolio and navigate the full cultivation and solicitation cycle
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including crafting compelling proposals
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and fundraising CRMs, with experience in EveryAction preferred
• Comfort in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, managing multiple priorities independently
