Major Gifts Officer, East Region

Job Summary

To support fundraising efforts in the Eastern United States, the full-time Major Gifts Officer, East Region will manage and grow a portfolio of individual donors, collaborate with local leadership and teams, and engage constituents through various fundraising activities in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of at least 100 current and prospective individual donors capable of giving at the $10k+ level
• Partner with prospect research and stewardship teams to identify new major gift donors
• Engage targeted constituencies through programs and activities that deepen donor connections and revenue growth

Required qualifications

• A minimum of five years of progressive fundraising experience, including donor cultivation and solicitation
• Strong knowledge of moves management and ability to develop donor engagement strategies
• Proficiency with Google office suite and experience with Salesforce or other fundraising databases
• Familiarity with the philanthropic and educational landscape in the East
