Major Incident Commander

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Major Incident Commander to lead and manage high-impact IT incidents remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex major incident bridge calls and support Major Incident Commanders during critical events
• Review incident records for quality and accuracy, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Oversee outage notifications and ensure clear communication aligned with business impact

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in IT operations, service desk, NOC, or incident management
• Proven experience in leading high-severity incidents and improving incident management processes
• Strong analytical skills to identify systemic issues and operational risks
• Ability to work variable shifts and respond to 24x7 critical alerts via mobile devices
• Advanced facilitation skills, including experience with executive-level communications
