Job Summary
A company is looking for a Major Incident Coordinator to support IT service operations remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate major incident bridge calls and collaboration channels, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Create and maintain incident records, timelines, and activity logs, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of incident actions
- Monitor dashboards and system alerts, validate alert accuracy, and ensure completion of Root Cause Analysis documents for assigned incidents
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or two years of relevant experience in IT operations, service desk, NOC, or incident management
- Working knowledge of IT service management concepts and structured incident response
- Familiarity with desktop and mobile devices, basic network connectivity, and enterprise IT environments
- Ability and willingness to work variable shifts and respond to 24x7 critical alerts
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
