Malaria Innovator Consultant

Job Summary

To support the mapping of malaria-related innovators, the remote Consultant will identify and document U.S.-based organizations and individuals involved in malaria control and elimination efforts, including research and development, while drafting descriptions and obtaining necessary consents for an interactive map.

Key responsibilities

• Research and compile a comprehensive list of U.S.-based malaria innovators and their activities
• Draft plain-language descriptions detailing each innovator's work, locations, and partnerships
• Contact innovators to secure consent for inclusion on the map and maintain a log of outreach and responses

Required qualifications

• Background in global health, science writing, or research
• Experience conducting independent research and engaging with scientists and organizations
• Ability to explain technical concepts to a general audience
• Familiarity with malaria-related initiatives and existing contacts in the field is preferred
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed logs and datasets
