Malware Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Malware Intelligence Analyst (worldwide remote, work anywhere).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify various types of web malware targeting the hosting ecosystem
• Reverse-engineer obfuscated PHP and JavaScript to extract detection patterns
• Write and refine detection signatures for the scanning engine while maintaining processing SLAs

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in PCRE regex with the ability to write complex patterns
• 3+ years of experience working with PHP and/or JavaScript
• Experience in web malware reverse engineering and deobfuscation
• Understanding of web attack injections and their manifestations in hosting environments
• Familiarity with web server architecture and related technologies
