Managed Care Biller

Job Summary

To support the Corporate Managed Care Billing Department, the full-time Managed Care Biller will be responsible for billing, receivables auditing, and collections activities for patient services, while working remotely to achieve cash collection goals and minimize bad debt.

Key responsibilities

• Manage billing and collections for assigned facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with managed care requirements
• Conduct receivables auditing to track and resolve unpaid claims through effective communication with insurance companies
• Meet monthly cash collection goals while minimizing bad debt impact across designated facilities

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in managed care billing preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices
• Experience with various Managed Care companies and their billing requirements
• Claim appeal and resolution expertise preferred
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred
