Managed Care Consultant

Job Summary

To support healthcare organizations in navigating complex managed care challenges, the full-time Manager, Managed Care will provide strategic consulting, oversee client engagements, and develop actionable communication strategies, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic insight on contract negotiations, payor mix, and operational efficiencies for managed care clients
• Manage project timelines and deliverables while building strong client relationships and overseeing cross-functional teams
• Lead the development of communication plans to support managed care negotiations and stakeholder engagement

Required qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in healthcare consulting or managed care, preferably in a consulting environment
• Proven success in leading managed care strategy projects, including benchmarking and contract modeling
• Strong understanding of managed care models and provider reimbursement methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and actionable insights
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in health administration, business, or public policy preferred
