Managed Care Contracting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director of Managed Care Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies related to managed care contracting for assigned organizations
• Negotiate rates and language of major payor agreements and assist in developing negotiation strategies
• Monitor financial and operational performance of payor contracts and recommend necessary actions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (MBA or MHA)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a contract negotiator with a large provider or 7 years with a small provider or payor with a Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a contract negotiator with a large provider or 5 years with a small provider or payor with a Master's degree
