Managed Care Contracting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director of Managed Care Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives that enhance payer yield and minimize revenue leakage
• Oversee analysis of payer policies and contract language to support accurate financial modeling and payment validation
• Lead a team in the analysis of claims data to assess payer compliance and performance, while managing multiple initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA or MHA) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a contract negotiator with a large provider or 7 years with a small provider or payor with a Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a contract negotiator with a large provider or 5 years with a small provider or payor with a Master's degree
• Experience in payer policy interpretation and managed care contract expertise
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of analysts
