Job Summary

To support the Contract Administration team, the full-time Managed Care Coordinator will manage reimbursement calculations, perform payment variance analysis, and assist with contract modeling and negotiation activities in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain reimbursement configurations within Epic for various payers, ensuring accurate alignment with payer systems
  • Support major payer negotiations by analyzing contract modeling scenarios and summarizing financial impacts for leadership
  • Validate contract builds through payment variance analysis and collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Two years of experience with managed care contracts and provider relations (or equivalent experience based on education level)
  • Certification in Epic Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts or similar proficiency expected within the first 90 days
  • General understanding of Healthcare Revenue Cycle processes
  • Experience with insurance payment processes and posting of payer remittance information
