Managed Care Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the Contract Administration team, the full-time Managed Care Coordinator will manage billing reimbursement configurations, assist with contract modeling and negotiation, and perform payment variance analysis, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot reimbursement calculations within Epic for governmental and commercial payers
• Support major payer negotiations by developing and analyzing contract modeling scenarios to assess financial impact
• Validate contract builds through payment variance analysis and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Two years of experience with managed care contracts and provider relations (or equivalent experience based on education level)
• Epic Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts certification or similar proficiency in vendor software
• Overall understanding of Healthcare Revenue Cycle processes
• Experience resolving insurance payment variances and understanding payer reimbursement terms
