Managed Care Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Managed Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Managed Care team and department within an assigned state/market
• Manage relationships with state-level payers, ensuring performance management and contract compliance
• Align payer operational strategy with enterprise growth initiatives and identify revenue lift opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, Juris Doctorate, or a relevant advanced field
• 10+ years of experience in managed care with a focus on directing managed care functions
• 7 years of experience in a leadership role
• Preferred experience includes at least fifteen years at a nationally recognized cancer center or large oncology practice
• Experience in contracting for specialized treatments such as bone marrow/stem cell transplants and CAR T therapy
