Managed Care Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating the provider enrollment process, the full-time Managed Care Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage participation status with managed care organizations and governmental agencies while working remotely in Ohio, with occasional onsite requirements based on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the provider enrollment process for employed physicians to obtain participation status with managed care organizations and governmental agencies
• Maintain ongoing communication with MCOs and providers' offices to update information and troubleshoot participation issues
• Develop and maintain databases to support accurate and timely enrollment reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0 to 2 years of experience in managed care provider credentialing or enrollment preferred
• Customer service experience is required
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management software is required
• Experience in healthcare is preferred
