Managed Care Liaison Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assoc. Managed Care Liaison Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts formulary committee scientific presentations and leads discussions about products for managed care accounts
• Collaborates with the Market Access team to meet the needs of managed care organizations
• Facilitates health economic and outcomes data generation for pipeline products and current treatments

Required Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD or equivalent in a health science field AND 7+ years of field Medical Affairs experience, including 2+ years in Managed Care
• Experience with health plan drug utilization decision-making and conducting health outcomes research
• Emerging as an internal thought leader with technical and/or business expertise
• Strong understanding of regulations and FDA guidance related to industry and managed care interactions
• Proven ability to network and partner with external stakeholders, specifically managed care organizations
