Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Market Access Channel Strategy Lead will manage relationships with external customers in the Managed Care channel for the Northeast and Gulf Regions, focusing on achieving medical coverage policies, securing in-network contracts, and monitoring market trends for clinical diagnostic laboratory genetic/genomic tests.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve access and coverage decisions for tests by addressing customer needs and enhancing relationships
- Grow the managed care client base and increase in-network contracts in assigned regions
- Develop and propose strategic initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen business opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of direct experience with U.S. payer accounts and proven performance
- Experience with health plans and independent physician/practice associations (IPAs)
- Knowledge of the payer payment system in the U.S. and experience with NGS or molecular diagnostics preferred
- Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
