Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end payroll experience for a portfolio of US customers, the full-time Managed Payroll Specialist will proactively manage client relationships, conduct pre-validation reviews, and communicate effectively throughout the pay run cycle in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the complete payroll cycle including data collection, pre-validation, entry, and approval coordination with accuracy and auditability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, anticipating and addressing potential escalation points proactively
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to document edge cases and prioritize improvements based on customer feedback
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on US managed payroll experience, preferably with multi-state payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, including tax withholding and compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client-facing relationships with proactive communication
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on technology and automation tools
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce or Jira is a plus
