Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Management Analyst will provide expert analytical support by conducting organizational studies, gap analyses, and program effectiveness evaluations to enhance public health initiatives aimed at reducing Veteran suicide.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver expert analysis and actionable recommendations on the effectiveness of public health programs and suicide prevention operations
- Plan and conduct organizational studies to identify barriers and opportunities for program improvement within the Office of Suicide Prevention
- Design and synthesize findings from various data collection techniques to inform program strategy and document results for VA stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in management analysis, program evaluation, or a related field with a focus on public health programs
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Prior experience supporting federal agency clients, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar public health-focused programs
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA facilities access and complete required background investigation
- Demonstrated proficiency in documenting analytical findings and delivering structured reports or executive briefings
