Job Summary
Providing mission support services for policy analysis, the full-time Management Analyst III (HIPAA) will offer recommendations and advice on the development and implementation of the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Civil Rights' initiatives, focusing on HIPAA and Cybersecurity policies in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide services and advice on policy, compliance, and enforcement mechanisms related to HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
- Recommend improvements for the quality and efficiency of OCR's HIPAA and Cybersecurity projects
- Conduct high-quality research and analysis to support OCR's nationwide goals regarding HIPAA and Cybersecurity initiatives
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Sciences, or a related field, plus three years of specialized experience
- Expert understanding of HIPAA policies
- Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance level II
- Experience in the public health or healthcare system
- Strong analytic communication and writing skills
