Manager Application Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Application Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of application security engineers, fostering a high-performing culture
• Conduct application security reviews, threat modeling, and provide guidance on security practices
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and maintain oversight of daily team efforts and long-term vision

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or GRC, with at least 3 years in application security
• Proven experience leading security or security-focused teams in a SaaS or product company
• Expert-level understanding of security libraries, controls, and vulnerabilities
• Strong development/scripting skills; experience with .NET Core, Go, or Python preferred
• Holds at least two relevant security certifications (e.g., CSSLP, OSCP)
