Manager, Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of technical experts, the full-time remote Manager, Applied AI Engineer will oversee the design, deployment, and scaling of AI-driven customer engagement solutions, ensuring projects meet quality and performance objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of AI deployment engineers and solution specialists
• Overseeing proof-of-concept and production deployments across the customer base
• Guiding the design and deployment of production-ready AI agents integrated with various systems

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, including at least 2 years in leadership or management
• Proven success deploying complex SaaS or AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with voice technology stacks and familiarity with major providers
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of TypeScript or Go for enterprise integrations
• Familiarity with contact center platforms or AI agent platforms is a plus
