Manager, Charge Description Master

Job Summary

Managing all chargemaster activities, the full-time remote Manager, Charge Description Master will oversee departmental performance, implement plans for effective charge capture practices, and collaborate with various departments to reduce denials and improve processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance the performance and effectiveness of the chargemaster department
• Implement short and long-term plans to ensure timely resolution of CDM requests and edits
• Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle departments to improve charge capture processes and reduce denials

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field
• Experience in revenue cycle management or chargemaster operations
• Proven track record of process improvement in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to charge capture and claims filing
• Leadership experience in managing teams and departmental performance
