Manager, Configuration & Release Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Configuration & Release Engineering (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Publish and communicate release deployment schedules and coordinate software deployments
• Document release deployment policies and ensure compliance with internal rules and regulations
• Anticipate and analyze trends in technology regarding release and deployment processes, incorporating best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in managing and coordinating software releases
• 5 years of relevant technical and business experience in software development in a regulated technology environment
• In-depth knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Strong understanding of deployment automation best practices in hybrid on-prem and cloud environments
