Job Summary

Detail-oriented and strategic, the full-time Manager, Consumer Marketing will drive subscriber acquisition through executing email marketing campaigns, managing A/B testing, and creating automations that convert non-subscribers into subscribers, with the flexibility to work remotely or from Washington, D.C.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute acquisition email campaigns and automations end to end in Sailthru, including setup, audience selection, QA, scheduling, and deployment
  • Expand and manage the A/B testing strategy across campaigns and automations, from hypothesis development through analysis and recommendations
  • Deliver data-backed recommendations to enhance email conversion, personalization, segmentation, and data collection efforts
Required qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in email, lifecycle, or growth marketing, preferably in media, publishing, or subscription businesses
  • Hands-on experience with an ESP or marketing automation platform; familiarity with Sailthru is a plus
  • Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests and applying insights to future campaigns
  • Proficiency with a data visualization or analytics platform, with Looker strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of email marketing fundamentals, including messaging, list management, deliverability, and compliance best practices
