Manager, Developer Advocacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager I, Developer Advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Developer Advocates, guiding work priorities and fostering a high-performance culture
• Define team OKRs and strategy, ensuring high-quality output and removing roadblocks
• Contribute technical content and collaborate with internal teams on Advocacy initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience managing a small team and coaching performance
• Experience as a software developer, SRE, or technical practitioner with strong technical judgment
• Proficient in at least 2 programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js)
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure such as IaaS cloud services and containers
• Experience as a developer advocate, skilled in engaging with software developers through various channels
