Manager - Disability Claims Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager for Short-term Disability Claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze reporting for trends and opportunities for improvement, develop plans for correction
• Direct work assignments, review progress, and ensure timeliness and accuracy
• Oversee staff, including hiring, training, and performance management

Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
• 3-5 years of experience in STD and/or Absence Management claims management
• 2+ years of management experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with reporting, data analysis, and trend analysis
